The Elizabethtown Area School District is pleased to introduce the new leadership team for Bear Creek School:
- Dr. Jeremy Stetler – Principal
- Ms. Kaitlyn Dobyns – Assistant Principal
- Mr. Mike Pericci – Assistant Principal
Jeremy succeeds Jacques Viau, who is retiring in October. Jacques will support school leadership across the district as a principal on assignment until his retirement. Kaitlyn and Mike have been appointed as the new assistant principals, replacing Jason Kingsborough, who has taken the position of assistant principal at Elizabethtown Area Middle School.
Jeremy comes to Elizabethtown from the Milton Area School District, where he was principal of White Deer Elementary School. Kaitlyn and Mike are familiar faces in the District. Kaitlyn was previously the assistant principal at Elizabethtown Area Middle School, while Mike has held several leadership positions, including principal of Mill Road Elementary School and Coordinator of Support Services district-wide.
Jeremy, Kaitlyn, and Mike bring a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to educational excellence to Bear Creek School. This new team is dedicated to student success and innovative approaches to education.
Jeremy expresses his enthusiasm for his new role, saying,
“I am excited to serve the Elizabethtown community as the next principal at Bear Creek. Elementary education is critical in a student’s development, and my team and I are committed to creating positive, responsive, and supportive environments where all students can succeed! I look forward to working with the students, staff, and families at Bear Creek and cannot wait to see what we can accomplish together!”
We invite you to meet Jeremy, Kaitlyn, and Mike at the Bear Creek School Open House on Thursday, August 22, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. This event will provide an opportunity for parents, guardians, and students to engage with the new leadership team and learn more about their vision for the school.
