First Day of School Banner - August 31, 2026

The first day of school for students in the Elizabethtown Area School District will be Monday, August 31. All schools will operate on an early dismissal schedule. Families are encouraged to review back-to-school information and school-specific communications prior to the start of the new school year.

Banner for 2026-2027 Calendar Approval

The Elizabethtown Area School District Board of School Directors approved the 2026–2027 school calendar at its regularly scheduled meeting on January 27, 2026. The first day of school for students will be Monday, August 31, 2026, and will be an early dismissal day. The last scheduled day of school is Friday, June 4, 2027, which is also planned as an early dismissal day.

Budget Approved Banner

The Board approved the District's 2026-2027 final budget at its June 9 Action Meeting. The budget reflects a projected surplus of $319,215 following the identification of more than $2.4 million in savings and includes a $1.18 million contribution to the Building Reserve Fund to support future capital projects, including the planned renovation and addition to the secondary school complex.
