Jeremy Stetler

Jeremy Stetler

Dr. Jeremy Stetler joined the Elizabethtown Area School District Administrative team as the principal of the Bear Creek School during the Summer of 2024. Dr. Stetler graduated in 2012 from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor's of Science in Education with a focus in History. In 2017, he earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership as well as his PreK-12 administrative certificate from Edinboro (PennWest) University. Dr. Stetler completed his Doctoral studies in the Summer of 2024 with the publication of his dissertation: An Evaluation of the Teacher Effectiveness Framework in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Its Perceptions from Pennsylvania Public-School Teachers and their Evaluators K-12. Dr. Stetler holds his Doctorate in Public Administration (DPA) from West Chester University.

Prior to coming to Elizabethtown, Dr. Stetler taught history and civics to students in grades 7-12 at the Montgomery Area School District in Lycoming County. Dr. Stetler began his career as an administrator working as an Assistant Principal PK-12 for the Weatherly Area School District in Carbon County. Before coming to E-Town, he served for 5 years as the Principal at White Deer Elementary School in the Milton Area School District, working with students in grades K-5.

Dr. Stetler is excited to bring his life-long love of learning and working with students to Bear Creek! When Dr. Stetler isn't at school; he enjoys spending time with his wife, Betsy, and two Bernedoodles César and Teddy. Dr. Stetler also enjoys playing soccer and watching sporting events of all varieties!
